Prince George's Community Presbyterian Church

The Lighthouse Community Development Corporation is the non-profit community service arm of Prince George's Community Church. Its mission is to strengthen individuals, preserve families and build strong communities through educational and charitable activities, with a particular emphasis on youth development and achievement. A primary focus is a male mentoring and tutorial program called MASTERS (Males Achieving Success Through Education, Responsibility and Service) that provides academic, employment and life-skills guidance to young males. The Lighthouse also operates a mentoring and tutorial program at the Glenarden Woods Elementary School, gives scholarships to needy students and organizes charitable giving to help homeless children and other persons in need.
