Through a variety of age-appropriate activities, this ministry helps and encourages each participant to lead Christ-centered lives and empowers them to impact their family, friends, and community.   • Family Day: On February 12, Elementary and Middle School Students along with their parents will have a “Family Day” at The National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden’s Ice-Skating Rink located at 7th St. and Constitution Ave. NW, Washington, DC. For a two-hour session the cost is $8.00 for adults and $7.00 for seniors (age 50 and over), students (with school ID), and children (age 12 and under). Our session begins at 12 noon and we are asking for the support of the entire congregation and friends to attend. Rain/snow date will be February 26.

  • Young Adults: On February 24, the Young Adults will hold a “Free Speed Dating” session at 7:30 p.m., and then hold a chat and chew conversation about “New Trends and What Not’s in Christian Dating” at 9:00 p.m. But remember, ages 21 and up (only) for we will be serving Christian drinks. This will take place in the Blackbox, at C.H. Flowers and you must RSVP to attend. For more information, contact our Dating Cupid, Brother Jon Armstrong. Come and bring some friends. You never know what God may do.

  • High School Students: On February 26, the High School Students will be going to see the movie “Red Tails” at Regal Cinemas Bowie Crossing Stadium 14, located at 15200 Major Lansdale Boulevard, Bowie, MD 20716. Students will meet at the movie theatre at 7:00 p.m. If transportation is needed from the theatre to home, please advise when you RSVP by February 14, 2012, at youth@pgcchurch.org.
